This firepit is made from food grade stainless steel and will last for years without the need for maintenance besides simple cleaning. Exposure to environments of high humidity, harsh sun, and oxygen will cause stainless steel to show minor signs of rusting. When not used regularly, store in a dry environment away from harsh sun. Because of the strong steel, care should be taken to protect flooring from scratches. Placement on ceramic or clay tiles to protect your floor is recommended.
